SOCCERSKOOL

What is SOCCERSKOOL?
SOOCERSKOOL is an exciting new program designed and Coached by the Player Development Team of The West Rouge Soccer Club. The program teaches the FUNdamentals of soccer consistent with the Long Term Player Development program developed by the Canadian Soccer Association.
 
Who is SOCCERSKOOL For?
The program will be especially interesting to girls and boys born in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. Our winter program was attended by all of these age groups.  Limited registration, so apply early.


What Does SOCCERSKOOL Do?
The goals of this program are to help players LEARN, PLAY and have FUN in the best training environment possible! SOCCERSKOOL can be a complement as well as an alternative to our House League program.
 
When is SOCCERSKOOL?
SOCCERSKOOL is Tuesdays and Thursdays
Start Date: week of May 17th
End Date: week of August 30th

Will There be Any Games?
Each practice typically includes scrimmage type activity, indeed the game will be the best teacher.  For 2002 and 2003 children three weekend events will be entered (Sunday June 27, Saturday August 14 and Sat/Sun September 18/19)
.  Other games may be arranged for all SOCCERSKOOL participants.

What is the Cost of SOCCERSKOOL?
Under 8s and Under 7s (born 2002/03) $450
Under 6s and Under 5s (born 2004/05) $400

When Does SOCCERSKOOL Start and Finish?
Each child will receive a SOCCERSKOOL uniform (numbered jersey, shorts & socks) and a SOCCERSKOOL t-shirt and soccer ball.

When Does My Child Need to Bring?
Soccer shoes and shin guards are mandatory.  A jacket and pants are always a good idea even in warm weather.  Each child should bring a small tote bag with a water bottle clearly labeled. And of course a soccer ball, a player's best friend.
